We’re now about half way through the deep retrofit to the Listed Lodge to Passivhaus principles and it’s a great opportunity to look at the construction before everything gets covered up. Above ground there’s a twin stud wall with a cellulose based breathable build up, Internorm triple plus 1 fenestration with integral solar control and discussion on airtightness & overheating strategy. In the basement there’s an interesting solution to wall insulation, Foamglas to the soffit and MVHR ventilation throughout. Checkout the blog so far.
